Cultural Arts Chair schedules occasional outings to interesting events or
locations in the greater Chicago metropolitan area. Invitations are
extended to the members by email and through Twigs. For these outings,

Folio Shakespeare performance of Twelfth
Night, 6:30 p.m. at Peabody Mayslake Last
year’s trip to the First Folio production of Macbeth was such a success, we’re going to have another
Shakespeare in the park on Saturday, July 17. Bring your picnic, lawn chairs, etc. at
6:30. We’ll picnic first and then enjoy a Shakespearean performance The show is on the beautiful grounds of the Mayslake Peabody
Estate Forest Preserve, located just west of Highway 83, at 31st Street.
Tickets are $28 ($23 for seniors), payable at the ticket booth on the evening

Cubs Outing, 1:20 p.m. at Wrigley Field We still have a few tickets remaining for our AAUW Chicago Cubs game
on July 21. The Cubs will be playing the Houston Astros. It’s a 1:20 PM
game and if you get there early enough, you may get a free Cubs key chain. Members
will be on their own for transportation – either car pool or public
transportation. To buy tickets, email Jane

The cost is $30 per ticket. Make checks payable to the Branch. (About $7 per
ticket will go to the Branch’s Convention Fund.) Members will have
